New Orleans Pelicans forward Anthony Davis remains questionable to return to the lineup for Wednesday’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks, per Fox Sports.

Davis has missed four of the Pelicans' last six games due to a troublesome left adductor injury. He looked back to his best as he scored 29 points with eight rebounds and five blocks against the Philadelphia 76ers, but sat the following game against the Houston Rockets.

However, the Pelicans have remained competitive even without Anthony Davis in the lineup, in large part due to the strong play of Jrue Holiday. The Pelicans guard is averaging 24.9 points on 54 percent shooting through the first seven games of December.

Holiday scored a season-high 37 points last time out against the Rockets, the third time he’s scored 34 or more points in his last five games.

E’Twaun Moore has also thrived in Davis’ absence. In the four games Davis has missed recently, Moore is averaging 24 points while shooting a sizzling 19-of-25 from beyond the arc. He’s coming off a career-high 36 points against the Rockets.

With Dante Cunningham also questionable to play due to a knee injury, Darius Miller will likely continue to start at power forward in the Pelicans’ smaller lineup without Anthony Davis.
