DeMarcus Cousins will get his first go-around at the Golden State Warriors with his new team tonight, as he missed the first chance to do so at the end of last season.

The big man missed the last four games of the year but is now looking forward to punishing this team that tends to play small, now along with his counterpart Anthony Davis.

“They have a tendency to go small, so we’re going to try to take advantage of that,” said Cousins, according to NBA.com's Jim Eichenhofer.

The Warriors recently gave the green light to forwards Draymond Green and Andre Iguodala, which will likely spell the first chance for Steve Kerr to put out his famed “death lineup” this season.

Cousins has been known as a stand-and-bang big for the majority of his career, though he has stretched his game out to the three-point line the past two seasons, which made his coach Alvin Gentry dub him as the best three-point shooter the team has to date.

This combination can spell nightmares for starter Zaza Pachulia, making Green's matchup with Cousins a likely one tonight.

Kerr will be forced to play chess against his former assistant Gentry and find a way to rattle the deadly Fire and Ice combination on the block, as Cousins is looking to attack the paint relentlessly and make the most of their size advantage.
