The Philadelphia 76ers have had a rough few years. For five seasons in a row, the team has not made the playoffs, and during that span, they won more than 20 games only twice. However, as former GM Sam Hinkie said it, it was all part of ‘The Process.'
The whole ‘process' was hard to believe in for some fans. Four years into it, even the ownership decided to go in another direction, firing Hinkie. This past season, where Philadelphia won 28 games, was a preview of what the process brought to the Sixers. Joel Embiid and Dario Saric, both picks made by Hinkie, had their premiere seasons and shined for the team when healthy, with both of them making the All-Rookie first team.
Embiid only played in 31 games, but he has shown that he has franchise-player potential. A healthy Embiid, along with the first selection in the 2017 NBA Draft, Markelle Fultz, and a healthy Ben Simmons could mean that the process is over, and it's now time to reap the benefits.
With the process seemingly coming to a close, the hype around the 76ers is becoming more and more real. One of the things that comes with hype is everyone jumping on the bandwagon. One of the ‘bandwagoners' seems to be Chicago Bulls' Dwyane Wade.

It is very tough to disagree with Wade. If everything goes their way, the Sixers might form the next Eastern Conference super-team. However, with their injury history, nothing is set in stone yet.
