After a superb season, the Philadelphia 76ers are on the verge of becoming a legitimate contender. The next few decisions will be key. In the 2018 NBA Draft, they have the 10th pick, and according to head coach Brett Brown, several key people from the front office will come up with the decision — not just one or two heads.

As reported by Noah Levick of NBC Sports Philadelphia, Brown said he and the front office have been on the same page. He admitted that he'll have the final word on who to select for the 10th pick. But he noted that everyone will still chip in their opinions:

“I think we’re going to find out. Right now, everybody’s in unison. If something pivots out of it, I’ll sit down with [owner] Josh [Harris], I’ll sit down with [vice president of player personnel] Mark Eversley and a few of the managing partners, and if it comes on me, I assume I’ll have the decision that could be the last one. I don’t believe it’s going to get to that. To date, we’ve been on the same page.”

Apart from draft night, Brown and company are also looking to add a superstar to their loaded roster. They already have a pretty good core led by Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons. But Brown said that his team needs a little bit more:

“We are completely exploring aggressively all options, and I think we just know we need a little bit more.”
