Philadelphia 76ers head coach Brett Brown was not a happy man following his team's loss to the Orlando Magic on Friday night. The Sixers put up a formidable fight, especially in the dying minutes of the ballgame, but nevertheless, coach Brown thought that his team lacked a sense of urgency all game long.

Judging by his reaction, it is obvious that coach Brown was a picture of frustration following his team's inability to come away with a victory from a contest that many expected them to win. No disrespect to the Magic, but Philly is currently considered by most as one of the powerhouse teams in the Eastern Conference, so these are types of ballgames that they are expected to win.

Philadelphia big man Joel Embiid double-doubled in 32 minutes with 24 points (on 8-of-21 shooting) and 11 rebounds, along with four 3-pointers, two assists, and a block. Tobias Harris also had a big game for his team, accounting for 24 points (on 9-of-19 from the floor), three 3-pointers, 11 rebounds, and three assists. Nevertheless, their efforts proved to be futile against a determined Magic side.

Evan Fournier stayed hot for Orlando, scoring a team-high 20 points on 8-of-15 shooting, to go along with two 3-pointers, two rebounds, six assists, and a couple of steals, while both Aaron Gordon (19 points, 11 rebounds, three assists) and Nikola Vucevic (16 points, 12 rebounds, seven assists) both produced impressive double-doubles.

Another player who made headlines was Magic guard Markell Fultz, who logged 13 points, two 3-pointers, three rebounds, and six assists against his former team, in what some considered to be a revenge game for the former first overall pick.

The Sixers will have a chance to bounce back on Saturday as they take on the Miami Heat in the second night of a back-to-back set.
