Philadelphia 76ers head coach Brett Brown isn't going to mince words: He wants the Sixers to get the No. 1 seed this upcoming season.
It's unclear if Brown is talking about getting the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference or the entire NBA, although one can guess he's referring to the league since many believe the Sixers are legitimate title contenders.

There was some roster turnover in Philadelphia this offseason. The Sixers traded star Jimmy Butler to the Miami Heat as part of a sign-and-trade deal and lost shooting guard JJ Redick to the New Orleans Pelicans as a free agent.
Article Continues BelowThe Sixers rebounded nicely after losing Butler and Redick. The franchise acquired combo guard Josh Richardson from the Heat in the Butler deal and signed All-Star big man Al Horford in free agency, stealing him away from the rival Boston Celtics.
Philly's starting lineup of Ben Simmons, Richardson, Tobias Harris, Horford and Joel Embiid is as good as it gets in the NBA. The Sixers will obviously go as far as Simmons and Embiid can take them. Most experts have the Sixers and Milwaukee Bucks meeting in the 2020 Eastern Conference Finals. The Bucks had the best record in the NBA last season. Brett Brown wants to make sure his group gets home court advantage this time around.
