The Philadelphia 76ers did not start the postseason as they would have liked. Jimmy Butler knows it, and he knows what his team must do to change the conversation.

With the 76ers coming up way short against the Brooklyn Nets in Game 1 of the team's opening-round series, Philadelphia knows a strong bounce-back effort will be needed if it wants to avoid falling behind 2-0 at home.

As a result of his team's brutal Game 1 performance, a contest that Philadelphia lost 111-102 on Saturday afternoon, 76ers swingman Jimmy Butler was forced to comment on the crushing defeat following the forgettable outing.

However, Butler actually had himself a pretty solid game with his 76ers teammates failing to pick up the slack around him. With 76ers point guard Ben Simmons among those who had a rough outing against the Nets, the Australian signal caller was not too pleased with the reaction of the hometown crowd in Philadelphia during the Game 1 loss.

“If you are going to boo, then stay on that side. That is how I feel. If you are a Sixers fan and going to boo, stay on that side,” Simmons told reporters, via The New York Post.

With the 76ers now in a bit of a hole, all can still be forgiven if Philadelphia comes out of the gates red-hot come Game 2 while a win would erase the Game 1 loss en route to tying up the opening round series at one game apiece. Game 2 between the 76ers and Nets is currently scheduled to take place on Monday evening in Philadelphia.
