The Philadelphia Sixers will undoubtedly be searching for ways to improve as the NBA trade deadline approaches.
Philadelphia has not experienced the season that they expected. A year ago, if someone had told them it would be the way it is now, they would have looked at the person funny. Ben Simmons has not appeared in a game for the Sixers this season, and he is expected to be traded before the NBA trade deadline on Thursday.
One of the speculations surrounding the Sixers is that they will be interested in attempting to make a trade for James Harden.
According to Derek Bodner of The Athletic, Joel Embiid was questioned about James Harden, a potential future Sixers teammate, but he dodged the issue to prevent a tampering problem from the league.

According to Brian Toporek of Bleacher Report, Joel Embiid also had this to say about the trade discussions revolving around the Sixers,
“I really don’t wanna be responsible for choosing whatever has to be done.”
He adds that this year is the “most fun I’ve had” since joining the Sixers.
It will be intriguing to watch what moves the Sixers make during the trade deadline, but Joel Embiid's statements should be encouraging to Philadelphia fans. Despite the fact that they could be without a second star come playoff time, Embiid is still enjoying his time in Philadelphia, and he must recognize that if they can just go out and make the correct move, they will have a team capable of winning an NBA championship.
