Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid continues to pad the stat sheets. In his most recent effort, he logged his fourth 40-point, 10-rebound game of the 2018-19 season.
Per John Clark of NBC Sports Philly, Embiid leads the league in 40-point, 10-rebound games:

On Wednesday, Embiid tallied 42 points and 18 rebounds. He shot 12-of-23 from the field and 17-of-19 from the free-throw line. This came in their 132-127 win over the Phoenix Suns. It was expected that Embiid would finish with monster stats. After all, by the end of the first half, the Cameroonian already had 30 points and 14 rebounds. He became the first player to put up at least 30 points and 10 rebounds by halftime since Antawn Jamison on Dec. 3, 2000.
The other three 4o-point, 10-rebound nights include a 113-101 loss to the Indiana Pacers in which the 24-year-old tallied 40 points and 21 rebounds, a 133-132 win over the Charlotte Hornets in which he finished with 42 points and 18 rebounds, and a 133-122 win over the LA Clippers in which he notched 41 points and 13 rebounds. For the season, he's averaging 26.9 points and 13.6 rebounds per game.
Joel Embiid has led the Sixers to a stellar 25-14 record, good for fourth place in the Eastern Conference. Their recent victory makes it two straight. Philly has a chance to extend its winning streak against the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday.
