There's no denying that Anthony Davis of the Los Angeles Lakers is one of the top big men in the game today. If you ask Philadelphia 76ers superstar Joel Embiid, however, the Sixers stud firmly believes that playing video games is actually harder than defending AD.

According to Embiid, himself a video game fanatic, the 26-year-old admitted that he struggles more with playing FIFA's FUT Champs as opposed to taking on Davis on the basketball court (h/t ClutchPoints on Twitter):

To be fair, FIFA players out there truly understand how challenging — and at times seemingly impossible — FUT Champs truly is. Apparently, it's more difficult than actually trying to stop a potential future Hall of Famer in Davis. I guess we'll just have to take Embiid's word for it.

Embiid and Co. battled against Davis and the defending champs on Wednesday, and it resulted in a narrow 107-106 win for the Sixers. Embiid was all over AD throughout the matchup, but Davis still managed 23 points on 9-of-18 shooting. For his part, though, Embiid logged 28 points against AD, so it could be said that he won both the individual and team battle on the evening.

Despite emerging with a hard-fought victory, however, Embiid did not come out of the contest unscathed. He was on the receiving end of a LeBron James flagrant foul, which put Embiid in some considerable pain. The Sixers star was clinching his back after falling hard on the floor, which has now put his status for Sunday's tilt against the Indiana Pacers in doubt.
