Another day, another quote from Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid complaining about the Sixers' lack of floor spacing.
The Sixers are currently on a three-game losing streak and they have looked disjointed on offense:

The Sixers will reportedly be in the market for perimeter shooting threats with playmaking ability, but they better hurry since the trade deadline is on Thursday.
Article Continues BelowThe two best players in Philly are Embiid and Ben Simmons, two guys who do all of their damage at the basket. Philly is clearly missing shooting guard JJ Redick this season. The sharpshooter left the team in free agency this past summer to sign with the New Orleans Pelicans.
How is Embiid supposed to dominate in the paint if he's getting doubled team at every turn and there's no space for him to operate? Simmons has no resemblance of a jump shot and Tobias Harris and Al Horford aren't consistent enough shooters to warrant Stephen Curry-like defense on the periemter.
Before the season started, a lot of pundits picked the Sixers to make it to the Eastern Conference Finals. However, the Boston Celtics, Miami Heat and Toronto Raptors are all better than Philly and the Milwaukee Bucks appear like they are going to cruise through the East playoffs.
It's clear the Sixers need to shake things up. A trade involving Simmons or Embiid won't happen, but the team needs more playmakers and shooters around the two All-Star as soon as possible.
