It was confirmed on Thursday that James Harden is set to make his Sixers debut on Friday against the Minnesota Timberwolves. The former league MVP has been working hard to get back to game shape ahead of his highly-anticipated first game for his new team and incidentally, this includes giving teammate Joel Embiid a few pointers.
A video of Embiid working on his jumper with Harden is currently making its rounds on social media. In it you can see how Harden appears to be helping his new teammate perfect his step-back jumper (h/t Philadelphia 76ers on Twitter):

The step-back is one of the most integral aspects of Harden's game. Embiid appears to be very interested in learning from his new Sixers teammate and it looks like their hard work is paying off. Embiid's smooth step-back is a thing of beauty right now.
As they always say, practice makes perfect. Embiid's jumper in the clip above is a far cry from his rather embarrassing attempt not too long ago. To be fair, he'd only been teammates with Harden for a few days when he first had a stab at James' signature move. What is clear here, though, is that Embiid is a fast learner.
