Philadelphia 76ers superstar Joel Embiid was back to his trolling antics on Wednesday after a successful overturned call against the Chicago Bulls.
The four-time All-Star made a huge defensive play against the Bulls' DeMar DeRozan that ultimately sealed the huge win for the home squad. With the Bulls down by four with under 10 seconds left in regulation, DeRozan drove hard and met Embiid at the basket. The Sixers big man ended up swatting DeRozan's attempt but a foul was called on the play which head coach Doc Rivers immediately challenged.
While the review was ongoing, Embiid was his usual playful self and trolled the Bulls swingman from a far. Check out Embiid taunting the Bulls star after the play (via Bleacher Report):

Looking at the play again, one can see that Embiid wasn't lying. He did get all ball and the officials were absolutely right in overturning their initial ruling. The Sixers eventually came up with the possession and knocked down a free throw to seal their fourth consecutive victory.
Despite their lack of personnel on Wednesday night with Danny Green and Tobias Harris both out, the Sixers still manage to keep on rolling early this season. Still, without their main court general as Ben Simmons continues to keep himself away from the team for personal reasons, Embiid and the rest of the Sixers squad are picking up where they left off last season as Philly continues to trust the process ahead of another promising NBA season.
