Philadelphia 76ers second-year guard Markelle Fultz will continue to see shoulder specialists through early next week, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Fultz, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft, is meeting with multiple specialists and won’t participate in full practices or games until the situation is resolved, though Kyle Neubeck of The Philly Voice reports the guard will at least try to be around the team when his schedule allows it.
Fultz has reportedly lost the ability to carry out and follow through on long jump shots. According to a report from The Athletic, Fultz has also been playing with an apparent injury in his right wrist area that has adversely affected his ability to shoot.

He has a nasty hitch in his shot and his free-throw routine is just as ugly.
Fultz’s agent and Sixers head coach Brett Brown have said that the trade rumors surrounding Fultz are false. There were multiple reports that came out this week stating that the Sixers are looking to trade Fultz and put an end to this saga. General manager Elton Brand recently said he wants Fultz to get healthy and that is all the franchise is concerned with right now.
The Sixers are 15-8 on the season and really don't need Fultz's services now that Jimmy Butler is on the team. It's going to be interesting to see where Markelle Fultz plays his next NBA game.
