Tyrese Maxey represented the Philadelphia 76ers in Friday night's NBA All-Star festivities. The young point guard was on Team Worthy for the Rising Stars Tournament, but he didn't contribute much to his team.
In fact, in Team Worthy's 50-49 loss to Team Isiah, Maxey had zero points. He was the only one to put up zero points in the game, while three other players only had two points each.
Maxey found his Sixers teammate Joel Embiid to chat after the game. Embiid must not have been watching very closely, because he was pretty surprised when Maxey told him about the goose egg.
Check out the hilarious interaction tweeted by the Sixers.

“I had zero points,” Maxey said laughing.

“For real? You didn't score? How?” Embiid laughed in disbelief.
Of course, this game didn't mean much of anything, which is why the two didn't mind joking around about it. In previous Sixers games this season, Embiid pushed Maxey to his potential and called him out when he was underperforming. The 21-year-old took the criticism to heart and learned from it, bettering himself and his team.
Maxey and Embiid weren't the only Sixers poking fun at Maxey's performance. Power forward Georges Niang tweeted his reaction to the Rising Star Tournament, and he's just thankful that Maxey performs in actual games.
I’m so glad tyrese makes lay ups in games compared to this little challenge

Embiid will represent the Sixers on Team Durant in the 2022 NBA All-Star Game Sunday night.
