Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid has been marred by injuries this postseason, but he is listed as probable for Game 5 against the Toronto Raptors after recovering from an upper respiratory infection, according to ESPN's Dave McMenamin.

Embiid did not attend shootaround on Tuesday morning and is resting back at the hotel, hoping to save all his energy for his time on the floor.

The Sixers big man was visibly hampered by his illness in Game 4, posting a mere 11 points on 2-of-7 shooting through 35 minutes of play in a loss to the Raptors. Embiid did contribute eight rebounds, seven assists, two steals and two blocks in the loss, but clearly lacked the energy to forced the Raptors on their toes, which he did formidably in Game 3 of the series.

Toronto now has home court advantage for the rest of the series, but the Sixers can change that around if Embiid can help them deliver a massive win on the road in Game 5.

While Kawhi Leonard has been a bombastic asset for the Raptors, Embiid is capable of having the same effect for the Sixers – though unlike Leonard, a lot of it rests in his health and the wind he will have coming into each one of the remaining games of this high-octane Eastern Conference Semifinal series.
