Boban Marjanovic is officially a member of the Philadelphia 76ers – and Sixers fans at the Wells Fargo Center couldn't get enough of it on Friday night.

The 7'3″ Serbian center checked in for the first time wearing Philly colors against the Denver Nuggets, and he has already become a fan favorite since being apart of the blockbuster deal that went down on Wednesday morning.

The 76ers acquired Marjanovic via trade with the Los Angeles Clippers, which transpired almost out of nowhere just a couple of days ago. In further detail, Tobias Harris and Mike Scott were shipped to the East as well, for Landry Shamet, Wilson Chandler, Mike Muscala, a 2020 first round pick, a 2021 unprotected first-rounder (via Miami) and two second-rounders.

Harris and Scott also made their Sixer debuts Friday.

In hopes of becoming serious title contenders this season, 76ers general manager Elton Brand made his second franchise-altering trade this season, after reeling in Jimmy Butler from the Minnesota Timberwolves in November.

Brand, who clarified once the deal was finalized that he plans on making an aggressive push at extending both Butler and Tobias Harris this summer, believes that the Sixers could now be a shoo-in to make it to the Eastern Conference Finals, if they weren't already.

Boban Marjanovic averaged 6.9 points, on an outstanding 60.7 shooting percentage from the field, and 4.3 rebounds per game for the Los Angeles Clippers this season. He will look to improve those numbers in the second stretch of the year for Philly, playing a key role behind Joel Embiid.
