Philadelphia 76ers star center Joel Embiid has taken to life in Philly quite well since he was drafted there by the Sixers a few years ago.

He's completely embraced the city, its people and even its sports teams other than the Sixers. Embiid has become a rabid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, so much so that he attends tailgate parties of games.

In adding to the sports teams, Embiid has even appeared to become as gritty and tough-minded as others from Philadelphia. That much could have been proven on Sunday before an Eagles playoff game.

According to TMZ Sports, Embiid appeared to shove a fan that was catching a football near him.

The video looks pretty damning for Embiid, especially because it looks like he's whisked away by a pair of people just seconds after he shoves the fan out of the way. It appears as though Embiid was upset for some reason, and took it out on the fan trying to catch the football.

But for those who follow Embiid on his various social media channels, it's well known that the Sixers center loves to have fun, and he will say and do things just to get laughs or a reaction. So it's very possible that Embiid was just messing around with the fan.

It's hard to tell simply because the clip in real time is really only a few seconds. We don't know what happened before or after the recording was taken.

Hopefully it was nothing too serious or nefarious, as that would create unwanted problems for Embiid's relationship with the city of Philadelphia.
