Washington Wizards guard John Wall refused to listen to a joke delivered by Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid before their Friday night game.
The 7-footer approached Wall, who was on the bench, and whispered something, but the latter seemed uninterested:

Joel Embiid may be cracking jokes before the game, but the Cameroonian's play afterwards was no joke.
In only 22 minutes of action, Embiid recorded another double-double as he dominated the paint. He finished with 16 points and a superb 15 rebounds to play a huge role in the Sixers' 123-98 win.
Amazingly, it was Embiid's 22nd double-double this season, and he did it in just 24 games. He leads the NBA this season, and who knows what his total will be when the season ends.

The Sixers improved to 16-8, which is currently the third-best record in the Eastern Conference. They have really hit their stride since the Jimmy Butler trade, and it is a clear indication that they will be one of the best teams in the East.
The Wizards, meanwhile, continue to struggle as they've faced a lot of setbacks this season. After this matchup, their record has plummeted 8-14, which is only good for 10th place in the Eastern Conference.
Wall was limited to 11 points in the matchup as he only took the court for 25 minutes.
The former first overall pick previously praised Embiid, but later added that he doesn't care who he is.
In this matchup, however, it was clear who the better team is.
