Shortly after Villanova's incredible National Championship victory over North Carolina, questions about the Wildcats' head coach Jay Wright possibly making the jump to the NBA were raised.
The consensus was that there would be plenty of interested parties in the association, and that it would be up to Wright if he wanted to leave the program he built at Villanova.
Now, the rumor mill is red hot.

Article Continues BelowWhether he wants to leave the collegiate ranks is still up in the air, but according to Mitch Lawrence of Sporting News, the Phoenix Suns have made Wright their top choice to be their coach for the 2016-17 season.
The Suns fired head coach Jeff Hornacek earlier this season and promoted Earl Watson to interim duties, but any thinking toward making him the permanent coach has been minimal.
With six coaches over their last nine seasons, Phoenix is hoping to finally find some stability in Jay Wright. That is, if he wants to be there.
