While the Phoenix Suns lost Game 4 of their playoff series against the New Orleans Pelicans, Chris Paul couldn't help but love the physicality of the series.
Speaking to reporters after the contest on Sunday, Paul shared how the series looked like the old-school NBA so far.

Chris Paul had a hard time against the Pelicans in their latest bout, with Herb Jones effectively shutting him down. After scoring four points in the first six minutes of play, he went scoreless for the next 42 minutes.
Article Continues BelowThere were also a ton of fouls called in the game, though CP3 would probably wish they benefited from it. The Suns have committed a total of 28 fouls, while the Pelicans ended up with just 16–resulting to a 42-15 free-throw disparity.
Despite the physicality of the contest, Paul gave credit to the Pelicans for outplaying them and being more aggressive throughout.
“They were the aggressor tonight. They came out, they made all the big plays…give them a lot of credit. They played well,” Paul said, per Gerald Bourguet of PHNX Sports.
The Suns-Pelicans series figures to get more physical from here on out. With the series tied at 2-2, it is going to be a dogfight for the win. And as Paul said, it's going to look more like the old NBA that plenty of fans love.
