After Chris Paul was forced to leave Monday's game against the Philadelphia 76ers, the Phoenix Suns received another injury scare when Deandre Ayton was seen limping off the floor.

According to Tim Bontemps of ESPN, Ayton was hobbling as he headed to the Suns' bench. He landed awkwardly following an offensive rebound and appeared to injure his left foot. The team's medical staff proceeded to bring Ayton to the locker room to get checked, and he was not on the bench when play resumed.

Sure enough, the injury to Ayton sparked a lot of concerns, especially since the big man just returned last Friday after dealing with a left ankle sprain.

Fortunately, it looks like Ayton is fine as he eventually returned to the bench moments later.

Losing Deandre Ayton in the game would have been painful for the Suns, especially with Chris Paul already ruled out for the rest of the contest due to a right heel soreness. Paul sustained the injury midway through the second quarter.

The Suns were also without Cam Johnson in the game. The fourth-year forward has suffered a torn meniscus and is set to undergo surgery. A timeline for his return has yet to be revealed, but he i expected to be sidelined for months given the severity of his injury.

Phoenix just can't catch a break when it comes to injuries. With that said, health will definitely be a huge factor in their attempt to stay atop the Western Conference.
