Booker was on a defensive play when he stopped and immediately grabbed his groin area. He was clearly in a lot of pain and could not move, and he had to be carried off the floor by two of his teammates. He did not return to the game.
The team’s fans can only keep their fingers crossed for now, as it could cost Booker a few games should he not be able to play through it. It will be a huge blow to the Suns, as he is their clear go-to-guy and leading scorer.
Josh Jackson and Troy Daniels are both expected to see an increase in their playing time if Booker will sit out some matches. The majority of the scoring load will then be distributed to the rest of the team, and it will be a must for everyone to step up their games in order to string a few wins together.
