Jackson (26.3 percent) edged Golden State Warriors' second-rounder Jordan Bell (23.7 percent) for pre-season consideration after the Oregon product showed his versatility by posting a 5-by-5 game in the Summer League. Utah Jazz three-and-D shooting guard Donovan Mitchell came in third place with 21.1 percent, distantly followed by Sacramento Kings' point man De'Aaron Fox (10.5 percent) and Suns' Davon Reed (5.3 percent).

Jackson's mix of long limbs and advanced defensive awareness make him a valuable asset that can potentially defend up to four different positions at a lanky 6-foot-8 and 205 pounds.
