The Portland Trail Blazers superstar duo of Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum has had enough of all these fake trade news that suggests Dame is on his way out. Lillard has been one of the biggest names being thrown around the rumor mill over these past few months and, obviously, it's been quite taxing for him and his long-time backcourt partner to hear and see all these gossips surrounding them and their franchise.

On Wednesday, both Lillard and McCollum had an interesting exchange on Twitter where they appear to mock all these laughable rumors that involve their team. When McCollum sarcastically suggested that they do an emergency press release on his podcast after all these latest developments, Dame's response was quite comical:

The initial tweet came from Lillard who had a simple one-emoji response to the latest news suggesting that he is willing to take a pay cut to chase rings with a championship squad. McCollum immediately came to Lillard's defense, seemingly mocking the update which, per Dame's and CJ's tone on social media, seem to be completely false.

Lillard, who's been busy representing the country in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, has always been one to keep things real with everyone, including the media. It's been a tough few months for Lillard as their team once again bowed out of the first round of the 2021 NBA playoffs. This is the fourth time in five seasons that Lillard's squad has lost their opening series of the post-season.

Amid all the doubt surrounding Lillard and his future in Portland, it seems as though he's sticking true to his word that he plans to stick it out with the Blazers.
