The Portland Trail Blazers were expected as one of the teams to make major moves in the offseason. But aside from acquiring a few role players, the team hardly tinkered with the roster. One of the guys linked to trade rumors in recent months is big man Jusuf Nurkic.
Nurkic has been hampered by a rash of injuries in his last two seasons with the Trail Blazers, hindering his strong development after registering breakout campaigns in the previous years.
On Thursday, a local radio host once again suggested on Twitter that the Trail Blazers should just ship away Nurkic. But the 27-year-old center was not having it, replying with a savage burn. He even requested a picture of his hater so he can properly see the “attention-seeker.”
Yoo from 💯 % they will too…
They won’t do it now🤣🤣🤣Y’all anyone get me a pic of him?? So at least I know who trying so hard to get some attention?? 😂 #TakeOffYourMask https://t.co/CHdbiIp8Nd

Quite curiously, Jurkic also used the hashtag #TakeOffYourMask, which Brooklyn Nets star Kyrie Irving posted on Twitter on Thursday. Irving also roasted Fox Sports analyst Nick Wright after likewise making a bold claim against him.
The Trail Blazers have stuck with Jurkic despite his recent struggles. After all, the Bosnian Beast averaged back-to-back double-doubles before he got sidelined for an extensive period. He's also a beloved teammate, with Rip City's main man Damian Lillard repeatedly expressing his appreciation for Nurkic.
Despite the addition of Larry Nance Jr. and Cody Zeller, Jusuf Nurkic is still expected to be the main big man of the Trail Blazers. His heft and force on both ends have been instrumental in allowing Lillard and CJ McCollum to do their thing.
