In a fantastic game that kept you on the edge of your seat, the Portland Trail Blazers edged the Golden State Warriors after Damian Lillard iced the game. Lillard put Portland up by two with a deep 3-point shot and then stepped up on defense and took a charge to secure the victory.
As usual, the call came with some controversy. Some believe Lillard's feet were not planted, while others think it was a clean offensive foul. Calling a charge is one of the most difficult calls to make for referees.

After the game, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr voiced his opinion on the call. Obviously, he believed it should've been a block:

This was an important game for Golden State in the playoff chase. The loss set the Warriors back, where they now rank ninth in the Western Conference standings.
For Portland, this was a huge win, as it has given them some space between themselves and the San Antonio Spurs in the rankings. It also builds confidence within the Blazers, as they're still playing well despite not having CJ McCollum or Jusuf Nurkic on the court.
With the All-Star break coming up, both of these organizations will be receiving a much-needed break before jumping back in. Both teams do have a game on Thursday night, though, with the Blazers facing the Sacramento Kings and the Warriors taking on the Phoenix Suns.
