The Sacramento Kings have sent Ben McLemore to test the waters of free agency.
ESPN's Chris Haynes pointed out that the Kings have just decided to decline their fifth-year option on McLemore's contract, which now gives the other NBA teams a chance to snap up the 24-year-old shooting guard this offseason.

McLemore, the seventh overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft, played all three of his big-league seasons in Sacramento, wherein he averaged 9.7 points per game on 41.7 percent field-goal shooting. The former second-team All-American out of Kansas missed just 16 games in those three seasons — all during the 2016-17 campaign.
