Upon being questioned about his since-deleted Twitter shot at Lonzo Ball prior to Monday's game against the Los Angeles Lakers, Sacramento Kings rookie point guard De'Aaron Fox quickly laughed it off the way most athletes do so nowadays — by saying he was hacked — before having a quick laugh about it with the media shortly after.

When asked if he was looking forward to playing the former Bruin, Fox was nonchalant with his response, claiming he wasn't all that disappointed a third matchup between the two didn't happen, but rather looking forward to the time it takes place.

“Yeah, but it happens,” said Fox of Ball's absence. “You saw the way they played without him? (surveying reporters) They played extremely well without him.”

The Lakers (1-2) won their first game of the Summer League after two losses with Ball on the floor, a thing Fox made a quick reference to when speaking with the media.

The Kings (0-3) took their third loss this summer with a 95-92 defeat on Monday, despite the lack of fireworks from a Fox vs. Ball matchup.
