Incoming third-year man De'Aaron Fox knows that to be considered one of the best to ever do it, you have to be good at every little aspect of the game.

Per Jason Jones of The Athletic, Fox said that a point guard in the NBA has to be good at lots of things. As such, his workouts — which he doesn't necessarily publicize on social media — revolve around improving every skill set he has.

“At the position I play you can’t just be good at one thing,” Fox said. “You’ve got to be able to do a lot of things. I never just go into it focusing on one thing.”

Fox — the fifth overall pick of the Kings in 2017 — is seen as the team's future franchise star. As a rookie, he burst through the NBA scene with his lightning-quick feet and athletic ability. Not only can he dash the full court ahead of everybody, but he can finish it off with a power slam.

Come his second year, from a mere athletic phenom, Fox turned into a defensive stalwart and a legitimate point guard. In his second year, Fox averaged 7.3 assists (up from 4.4) and 1.6 steals (up from 1.0). In terms of scoring, Fox chipped in 17.3 points per night, up from 11.6 from his rookie campaign. For all his efforts, he was one of the finalists for Most Improved Player of the Year.
