After Sacramento Kings guard Kyle Guy hit the game-winner against the Golden State Warriors in their NBA preseason game on Tuesday, his teammate Buddy Hield immediately got hyped.
Too hyped, in fact.
Hield celebrated so much that he tripped and fell over. Fortunately, the Kings sharpshooter was alright.
Judging by the video, he was looking to body bump Guy but flat out missed.

The incident reminded a fan of a similar instance: Nate Robinson falling to the floor while trying to body bump Paul Pierce during their Boston Celtics days. Such a classic.

In their 114-113 victory, Hield chipped in 18 points in 24 minutes. It was Guy who top-scored for the Kings with 20 points in 21 minutes of action. The game-winner was certainly the cherry on top of the amazing night of the sophomore guard, who led Virginia to the NCAA title in 2019 and was named NCAA Final Four Most Outstanding Player.
But despite his stellar college career, Guy slipped all the way to the 55th pick of the 2019 NBA Draft. He only played three games for the Kings last season. He could earn more minutes in his second year but it's highly possible he will still be the third-string PG after the Kings drafted Tyrese Haliburton.

According to coach Luke Walton, Guy's minutes will depend on the overall health of the roster.
Is there a more tone deaf coach in the league? Even if true, why say that after the game guy had?

Hield, meanwhile, will remain an integral piece for the Kings as he hopes to follow up his breakthrough campaign last season with another stellar showing.
