Sacramento Kings point guard De'Aaron Fox has shared his two cents worth on the recent NCAA ruling that will now allow players to get paid as student athletes. The 21-year-old was refreshingly blunt about his response, and even added some NSFW action to boot.

Fox spent one year in college with the Kentucky Wildcats, where he would average 16.7 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 4.6 assists as a highly-touted freshman. This would eventually lead to a fifth overall selection by the Kings in the 2017 draft, and as what Fox so clearly stated in the above interview, he holds no regrets whatsoever about his decision to head to the NBA as soon as he possibly could.
It is worth noting that Fox got paid $10 million in his first two seasons in the league, and that he is also expected to earn upwards of $14 million over the next two seasons. This is just his rookie scale deal, and given his potential, the 6-foot-3 point guard will surely be in for quite a hefty payday sooner rather than later. Even if he got paid during his time in Kentucky, it would be absurd to think that he would have come close to that type of money as an NCAA star.
Fox's comments here serves as a good representation of how the top recruits might feel about this new ruling. Why stay in college when you can earn so much more in the big leagues? Then again, most players in the NCAA do not have lottery pick potential, so perhaps they would hold a different sentiment from Fox.
