The Sacramento Kings are enjoying having Mr. Half-Man, Half-Amazing on their roster this season. On Thursday night versus the Oklahoma City Thunder, Vince Carter showed once again that he can still dunk with the best despite being 41 years of age.

The Thunder were leading 47-31 in the second quarter when Carter received a pass at the top of the key from teammate Buddy Hield. He faked a shot from the 3-point arc before driving down the lane for a Statue of Liberty dunk with 8:54 left before halftime.

As he usually does after dunking for much of his career, Carter motioned to the fans that he was all revved up once again for that slam.

Known throughout his career for his dunking prowess, Carter has plenty of nicknames due to his high-flying game. From “Half-Man, Half-Amazing” to “Air Canada” to “Vinsanity” to simply “VC,” Carter is an iconic figure in NBA basketball history for making the most outrageous dunks in the most impossible of situations.

During the 2000 Summer Olympics, Carter jumped over 7-foot-2 Frederic Weis in what is perhaps the greatest dunk in basketball history, international or otherwise.

Carter has been coming off the bench for the Kings after signing a one-year, $8 million deal last offseason. This year, he is averaging 5.0 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game, while shooting 38.5 percent from the field, 35.3 percent from the 3-point line, and 69.6 percent from the free-throw line.

He was rumored to be a buyout candidate by the Kings so he can join the Toronto Raptors, the team that drafted him, but the latter has since been reported to point their eyes toward another direction.
