Just like the rest of us on Thursday night, Golden State Warriors superstar small forward Kevin Durant was wondering why Sacramento Kings head coach Dave Joerger was upset at Buddy Hield.
After Hield made a long 3-pointer in the fourth quarter to bring the Kings within three points of Golden State with 19 seconds remaining, Joerger and Hield had an animated conversation and Durant had a front row seat to the whole thing.
After Hield and Joerger stopped talking, Durant went up to Buddy to ask him what was going on.

Buddy Hield did make a great shot, but it looks like Dave Joerger was upset that Hield didn't run the play which was called in the previous timeout. Kevin Durant was shocked to hear Joerger so angry that his player just made a tough shot to bring his team within three points of the best team in the NBA.
Sometimes head coaches can be crazy, and it looks like Joerger just lost his cool here. Basketball is a game of instincts. Hield is one of the best shooters in the NBA, and he saw an opportunity to shoot the ball. Better yet, he made it, which is huge for his confidence. Joerger didn't do anyone any favors by yelling at Hield.
