The Sacramento Kings continued to prove that they are indeed a force to be reckoned with this season, as they pushed the Golden State Warriors to the very limit in their matchup on Thursday night. While the Warriors did emerge with a tight 125-123 victory on the evening, Dubs star Draymond Green later admitted that the Kings and their competitive spirit continue to be a thorn in the side of the Warriors every time they face each other on the court:
Draymond Green on a possible first round matchup with the Kings: "Every game we play them dudes I leave the game exhausted, go home and I'm dead. So hopefully not."

The fact that the Kings were able to keep the game extremely close against the defending champs (again) speaks volumes of the great things they're doing in Sacramento right now. As a matter of fact, the game was not decided until the final play, which just shows that this young Kings side does not fear anybody.
Article Continues BelowDraymond Green was his usual self in this one, providing another all-around performance for his team. The former Defensive Player of the Year winner logged 12 points (on 3-of-6 from the field and 3-of-4 from the charity stripe), three 3-pointers, six rebounds, eight assists, and one turnover in 34 minutes of action.
The Warriors are now 42-16 with this win, as they continue to distance themselves from the rest of the West. However, the Denver Nuggets are still breathing down their necks with just two and a half games behind in the second spot.
The Dubs are off on Friday, and then they're scheduled to face off against the Houston Rockets on Saturday in another rematch of last season's Western Conference Finals.
