When Manu Ginobili entered the league back in 2002, he showed the fans his fast-paced game and made a name for himself as a player who is not afraid to attack the basket every time he has the chance to. Now 39-years-old, he does not have the same explosiveness that he had earlier in his career, but that’s not the only thing different from him compared to his earlier days as a professional.
It’s not hard to notice that the future Hall-of-Famer has been balding and is starting to see his hairline recede. Ginobili has recently proved that he is not afraid to joke about it, and has even embraced it, taking to his Twitter account to show his similarities with a bald eagle. He even added the caption “Bros!” and included the hashtag “baldies.”

The Argentinian international announced earlier this summer that he will return to the San Antonio Spurs for at least another season. He hopes to end his stellar career on a high note, and win his fifth NBA championship. Despite his advanced age, he knows he can still contribute to his team and be a vital cog to their quest of contending for another title.
Last season, Ginobili received a career low 18.7 minutes per game, but still produced decent numbers of 7.5 points, 2.3 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.2 steals per game. More importantly, he serves as a veteran locker room leader to his teammates, and helping them improve both as players and professionals. If his recent tweet is any indication of what his current state is, it shows how he remains positive, and that his attitude is something he can rub off to the rest of his team.
