DeMar DeRozan's regular-season debut with the San Antonio Spurs was a success, and the All-Star guard got a shout out from Spurs legend, Manu Ginobili.

DeMar DeRozan wanted Ginobili to come back for his 17th NBA season, but he didn't get his wish. Manu Ginobili retired from basketball during the offseason. However, the future Hall of Famer did say he's going to be around the team a lot this season. The lefty has already been spotted a few times at the practice facility shooting with players.

DeMar DeRozan and the Spurs will look to make it two in a row Saturday when they take on the Portland Trail Blazers on the road.
