It’s not just the Boston Celtics who got themselves a former Cavalier this week, as the San Antonio Spurs have also signed ex-Virginia Cavaliers guard London Perrantes to a partially guaranteed contract according to Michael Scotto of Basketball Insiders.

After four seasons under Tony Bennett’s program, Perrantes decided to join the 2017 NBA Draft, which ended without Perrantes hearing his name get called.
Despite the setback, Perrantes was able to join the Miami Heat during the recently concluded Summer League, where he put up averages of 10.0 points, 5.0 assists, 2.0 rebounds, and 1.5 steals per game during the Las Vegas segment of the league and 11.3 points, 4.8 assists, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.3 steals per contest in Orlando.
London Perrantes, of course, is best known for being part of a competitive Virginia program under Bennett, who has transformed the Cavaliers into a perennial ACC and National Title contenders over the past few years. The 6-foot-2 Perrantes led Virginia last season with 12.7 points and 3.8 assists per game, while also shooting 37.4 percent from deep.
