In their game against the Toronto Spurs, the San Antonio Spurs played a tribute video for Kawhi Leonard and Danny Green.

Here's a video of that tribute for the two former Spurs stars, via Jabari Young of The Athletic.

As heard, there were several boos whenever Leonard appeared on the screen. Green, meanwhile, got cheers from the San Antonio crowd. One would expect the home crowd to at least cheer on the tribute videos. After all, San Antonio fans are one of the classiest fans in the NBA. But as seen in the clip, it seems that they haven't moved on from the Leonard-Spurs drama.

And it's really hard to put the blame of them for behaving that way. To recall, Leonard had some misunderstandings with the Spurs' medical team about his injury. The medical staff cleared him to play. But Leonard still didn't feel comfortable and insisted that there's still something wrong with his right quadriceps.

This led to the former Defensive Player of the Year to sit out for the rest of the 2017-2018 season. And during the whole ordeal, Leonard didn't speak out that much. News about his condition and relationship with the Spurs staff were mostly gathered from rumors and whispers all over the league. And over the summer, the inevitable occurred: Leonard was sent away to another team.

It might take a while before the fans move on from the whole drama. Until then, Leonard should try his best to be bothered by all the noise.
