If a high price tag wasn't enough to complicate the Phoenix Suns' trade of Eric Bledsoe, the team is now involving big man Tyson Chandler to help move him as soon as possible, according to Marc Stein of The New York Times.

If this didn't smell like it before, it sure does now — the Suns are in a complete rebuild mode — trying to shed any possible veterans and grow as young and as cheap as possible through this season, a similar strategy to what the Los Angeles Lakers have done in this past offseason.

Phoenix is asking for valuable young talent and a role player or a high draft pick in exchange for Bledsoe, most recently asking for the Milwaukee Bucks' reigning Rookie of the Year Malcolm Brogdon in exchange for the 6-foot-1 dynamo.

The New York Knicks, the L.A. Clippers, the Denver Nuggets, and the Bucks have been the main teams involved in conversation, despite general manager Ryan McDonough offering he's received calls from all 29 teams at this point asking for Bledsoe.

The Suns could be tied to a war of attrition, since they are in the mindset that Bledsoe is a coveted player who should net great royalties in return. The reality is that Bledsoe; despite coming off a career year with the Suns, has a good stock, but one that has taken a massive hit in leverage since his discontent with the franchise became public.

McDonough didn't do himself any favors by sending him home on Monday, which will give other teams all the power when it comes to structuring a deal; knowing full well he's played his last game in the uniform.
