Toronto Raptors head coach Nick Nurse's challenges, and subsequent failures, became something of a niche meme for many in the NBA community.

Needless to say, Nurse was ecstatic when he finally struck gold with one of his challenges.

He was asked after the Raptors' 113-104 triumph over the Los Angeles Lakers about his feelings after winning the challenge. He joked about how monumental the moment was for him:

Nurse clearly felt some relief that he finally got a challenge to go his way. This latest challenge was his third this season. His first two challenges were obvious failures, and he admitted that he doesn't exactly know what to do with these challenges:

“I’m 0-for-2 on challenges and I can’t believe it,” Nurse said, via Sportsnet’s Michael Grange. “I don’t have any idea what I’m doing there. Zero.”

With this small victory, fans will be hoping that he finally understands how to properly use his challenges.

In the meantime, the Raptors are doing just fine without Kawhi Leonard and Danny Green. They're 7-2 after exploiting the Lakers' transition defense. Pascal Siakam is doing a fine job of taking over Leonard's mantle. if they keep this up, they could be in for another deep playoff run.
