Powell back Sunday. Nurse unsure if he will start or not. Siakam and Gasol questionable but “might be a bit ambitious for them.” VanVleet made a brief appearance at practice but is out for a bit. #raptors

Siakam has been sidelined since last month with a groin injury.
The fourth-year forward, who was named the NBA's Most Improved Player last season, has blossomed into one of the best two-way players in the league and is averaging 25.1 points, eight rebounds, 3.6 assists, one steal and one block over 36.6 minutes per game while shooting 45.7 percent from the floor, 39.2 percent from three-point range and 81.3 percent from the free-throw line.
Siakam, who played his collegiate basketball at New Mexico State, was originally selected by the Raptors in the first round (27th pick overall) of the 2016 NBA Draft. He showed promise as a defender over his first couple of seasons, but early on, his offense was lacking.

Meanwhile, Gasol has been nursing a hamstring injury that has kept him out of action for the same amount of time.
During the time he has played this season, the veteran is recording 6.6 points, 6.6 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 1.1 blocks through 28.2 minutes per game, connecting on 36.4 percent of his shots, 35.2 percent of his triples and 75 percent of his free throws.
Toronto acquired Gasol in a deadline trade with the Memphis Grizzlies last season.
