The Toronto Raptors are entering Game 3 against the Philadelphia 76ers with their backs against the wall down 3-games-to-none. Things aren't looking good for Toronto, who has simply had no answers for Sixers star Joel Embiid. The Raptors also haven't had one of their best players, rookie Scottie Barnes, on the floor since he sprained his left ankle at the end of Game 1. Barnes, who is doubtful to suit up in Game 4 on Friday, would likely have made at least a bit of a difference had he been out there for the last two games. Los Angeles Lakers legend Magic Johnson, who heaped a ton of praise on Barnes, likely believes the rookie's presence would have made a huge difference, as reported by the Sporting News.

“He’s big. He’s strong. He’s physical. He can make his teammates better like I was able to do and he’s a matchup nightmare like I was.”
Not only is Lakers legend Magic Johnson a big fan of Barnes, but he also sees a “lot of Showtime” in the Raptors forward. Johnson noted that Barnes can do just about everything on the court and that he “makes his teammates better” like the Lakers legend did.
Barnes averaged 15.3 points, 7.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists in 74 games played for the Raptors this year. While he enjoyed a standout rookie season, Barnes has a long way to go to get on Magic Johnson's level, even if Johnson is anointing him as the second coming of himself.
