The Toronto Raptors, with Serge Ibaka, and the Philadelphia 76ers are locked in a battle in the Eastern Conference semifinals. Game 3 of the series between the two teams on Thursday night took place in Philadelphia, where the Sixers were aiming to take a 2-1 series lead over “We The North.”
The Sixers raced off to an early lead, and Joel Embiid has looked as if he is fully recovered from the gastroenteritis he suffered from in the last game between these two teams.
The series has been a hard-fought affair so far, and things got a little heated between two names on either side, JJ Redick of the 76ers and Serge Ibaka of the Toronto Raptors, in the first half of the game:

Flagrant 1 to Serge Ibaka after the elbow to JJ Redick https://t.co/pQxrv9FIk2

As you can see, Ibaka takes a wild swing with his elbow and connects with Redick on offense. Redick falls to the ground and stays there for a while, accentuating the fact that illegal contact was made to his face.
Even if Ibaka didn’t mean to hit Redick, it is irrefutable that it occurred. By the letter of the law, that foul must be called a flagrant 1 – and that is exactly what happened. This game has been fairly chippy since that foul, so stay tuned as more news from this game comes out.
