Danny Green knocked down a huge 3-pointer to cap off the Toronto Raptors' big 106-104 comeback win over the Miami Heat on Wednesday night at AmericanAirlines Arena.

The Heat led by as many as 17 points and almost pulled off a huge upset against the heavily favored Raptors. Justise Winslow gave the Heat a one-point lead, 104-103, with 35.2 seconds to play.

However, Green had other plans in mind. The veteran sharpshooter knocked down a cold-blooded triple with 22.7 seconds left in the game off an assist from Serge Ibaka. The Raptors appeared ready to ride with Kawhi Leonard, but the All-Star forward saw an open Ibaka, who then made the extra pass to Green:

Miami had a chance to take the win or force an overtime. However, Dwyane Wade missed a 27-footer, then Winslow failed to convert another 3-point attempt. Wade had one last chance to tie the game but missed a tip shot as the final buzzer sounded.

Green finished with 18 points on 7-for-10 shooting from the field, including a 4-for-7 clip from beyond the arc. Leonard led the Raptors in scoring with 30 points to go along with eight rebounds and two steals. Fred VanVleet added 16 points, while Paskal Siakam ended up with 10 points and nine rebounds.

On the other hand, Winslow led the Heat with 21 points. Hassan Whiteside had a double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds, while Josh Richardson finished with 17 markers and seven dimes. Wade tallied 10 points and six assists in 24 minutes of playing time off the bench.

With the win, the Raptors improved to 26-10 and solidified their grip on the top spot in the Eastern Conference standings. Miami dropped to solo eighth with its 16-17 record.
