With big acquisitions this offseason, the Toronto Raptors and the Golden State Warriors are viewed as a potential matchup for the NBA Finals come June next year.

The Warriors have pretty much steamrolled on teams for most nights these past few years. Opposing teams know that they always have to be in their A-game if they want to defeat a stacked Warriors team.

In a very interesting fact pointed out by Reddit user ohgosh_thejosh, the Raptors have had the disadvantage of facing the Warriors on the second night of a back-to-back for four consecutive years.

“Very random fact: the Raptors have faced the Golden State Warriors on a back to back every year since the 14-15 season. This upcoming year will make it 5 year in a row and 4 in a row they faced them on the second night.”

A schedule of back-to-back games obviously leaves little to no rest for players as they prepare for the next game. This put the Raps in an immediate disadvantage as their bodies haven't fully recovered yet from the bruises and aches they suffered from the previous game.

The records actually say it all. For the past four years, the Raptors have not won a single game against the Warriors. Their most recent battle had the Dubs coming on top with a 127-125 squeaker against the Raps.

Their matchup will be more interesting this upcoming season. The Raptors' acquisition of Kawhi Leonard and Danny Green gave them a more complete lineup especially on the defensive end, while the Warriors have added another all-star in DeMarcus Cousins through free agency.
