Gobert, Mitchell, and the Utah Jazz laced into the Perth Wildcats on Saturday, defeating the Australian team by a final score of 130-72. Gobert notched 14 points and nine rebounds, while Mitchell tallied nine points, four rebounds, and four assists. It was the team's first time on the court in game action, albeit a very light first matchup.

The Jazz are looking to build off a surprising 2017-18 season. Mitchell successfully assumed Gordon Hayward's vacated role and Utah didn't miss a beat. They beat the Oklahoma City Thunder in the first round before eventually falling to the top-seeded Houston Rockets.

But with another year of experience, Utah hopes Mitchell can take the next step towards becoming a superstar. His standout rookie season took the entire league by surprise. This year he won't have the element of surprise on his side. Teams will be keying on him and focusing their game plan around the talented guard.
