It is no secret that Golden State Warriors superstar point guard Stephen Curry is quite the avid golfer when he is not spending his time on a basketball court. The two-time NBA Most Valuable Player award winner has played in several celebrity golf tournaments in the past and was even skilled enough to play in a PGA Tour event last year at the 2017 Ellie Mae Classic at TPC Stonebrae.

However, according to a photo posted on Instagram by Curry on Thursday afternoon, he was clearly practicing his golf swing in the wrong place.

In what appears to be at one of the team's hotel rooms, either in Washington D.C. or in Atlanta, Curry appeared to have accidentally smashed a large amount of glass while swinging one of his clubs.

At least the 29-year-old guard had a really good sense of humor about it, as he made fun of himself while he looked at the glass scattered across the hotel room's floor, a table and a leather chair.

“When you feel like you’re on the PGA Tour so you gotta get some swings going in the hotel room,” Curry said, followed by three crying with laughter emojis and an “idiot” hashtag.

Luckily, Curry was not hurt by any of the flying glass in his hotel room and it's assumed that he's covered the damaged. Last month, Boston Celtics point guard Marcus Smart had an incident with glass at a hotel in Los Angeles and wasn't so lucky when he allegedly swiped at a picture frame and a large piece of glass was embedded in his hand.
