For the Golden State Warriors, they don't have a ton to play for with the last few games of the regular season, but they could help dictate who they play in the first round of the playoffs.
If they were to lose tonight in their game against the Utah Jazz, it would eliminate the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Jazz as potential first-round matchups. When Steve Kerr was asked about how he would play tonight's game and if he would play all his starters full minutes, he gave an interesting response.

“We are going to play it by ear..We are going to play it normal and see how the game goes but if someone is banged up we won't throw them back out there.”

Although he didn't come out and say it, he sure didn't seem to be too concerned if they ended up losing this game as it would end up eliminating the Jazz and Thunder. Both of those are teams that would be hard outs and if they played the Thunder, it would present all kinds of storylines.
When Kerr was asked about who he wanted to play, he talked about how deep the Western Conference was and he didn't see it really mattering who they play.
With star point guard Stephen Curry being out in the first round, that is going to make it even tougher for the Warriors to win no matter who they end up playing. They will still be favored against any team that they will play, but it might not be a series sweep like it would be with Curry in the lineup.
