It looks like Russell Westbrook isn't going to have any trouble fitting in with the Washington Wizards.

According to Wizards head coach Scott Brooks, Westbrook interrupted him at practice on Saturday and told him that he was running a lot of the same sets he had on the Oklahoma City Thunder, per Chase Hughes of NBC Sports Washington.

Russell Westbrook is a former MVP and a triple-double machine. He's going to play well for the Wizards no matter what system Scott Brooks runs since he's one of the best players in NBA history and can adjust to any offense.

People are forgetting that Westbrook averaged 27.2 points, 7.9 rebounds and 7.0 assists per game for the Houston Rockets last season. The only reason the nine-time All-Star struggled in the 2020 playoffs against the Thunder and Los Angeles Lakers was due to his positive COVID-19 test and the quad injury he played through.

Now 100 percent recovered from COVID-19 and his quad ailment, Westbrook is primed to have another stellar statistical season in 2020-21. The Wizards and their fans can't wait to see the 2017 MVP team up with Bradley Beal, one of the top shooting guards in the NBA. Beal put up 30.5 points a night for Washington in 2019-20 and shot 35.3 percent from beyond the arc.

With Westbrook and Beal leading the way, the Wizards are expected to compete for a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.
